These delightful clients wanted to spruce up the lighting by their front door. They liked the clean lines of a fixture I’d made and contacted me via e-mail. The clients hail from Maryland and found me via a Google search. She typed in something like "light fixture by a door -- one side." A link appeared to my website, where I mused about a custom lighting piece I’d designed. We communicated via e-mail and phone, and it was a very smooth process.
They sent pictures of the front door and porch area. I made recommendations on the size of the fixture. Once overall size was determined, I made a cardboard prototype of the custom font ‘17000’ address grill for approval. The clients chose glass from their local stained glass shop, cut-to-size for the two sides and the ‘17000’ address grill. It was a pleasure working with these folks, as they had so much enthusiasm for the project. I wish them the best, and maybe we’ll meet face-to-face some day... Comments are closed.
